Rooms

All guest rooms are comfortable and modern, housing a seating area with a glass table and armchairs as well as a desk. The rooms on the top floor house a small terrace. The marble and Labrador granite bathrooms provide a bath with shower. There is also a magnifying mirror with soft lighting. The television offers a variety of channels including 3 complimentary German language Premiere TV channels: P-FILM, Bundesliga Live Konferenz at weekends, P-2 and P-Fussball (showing Euro-Liga and Champions League). CNN news is also available in all of the rooms.

Hotel details

The Fontana Hotel offers two discussion rooms which house, depending on equipment, 10 to 20 people. Each of the two rooms has a size of 24 m² and a ceiling height of 3 metres. During the meetings, external participants can use our car park free of charge. Use one of the two rooms free of charge up to 2 hours daily with a maximum of 4 people. The only precondition is at least one person must have reserved a room. If the rooms should be already occupied, our lobby invites an alternative.

Enjoy our breakfast buffet from 07:00 to 10:00 in one of our sunny non-smoking breakfast rooms. The hotel does not have a restaurant but there are a range of charming restaurants within a few minutes' walk: Sample fine Greek cuisine on the terrace at El Greco which is located next door. Visit the Italian restaurant La Rucola which has a large terrace and is in the nearby park just 2 minutes away. It commands excellent views over one of Wiesbaden's tennis clubs. Venture 8 minutes from here to Käfer's Bistro which is located in the spa and casino.

Area information

The hotel is centrally located and is directly opposite the spa park (Kurpark). The number 16 bus runs regularly to the centre of the city and its pedestrian shopping area and the train station. Rhein-Main-Hallen (1.5 km) – Wiesbaden’s exhibition centre hosts a wide range of exhibitions and conferences throughout the year. Wiesbaden city centre (0.7 km) – The hotel is just 8 minutes walk from the cultural centre of Wiesbaden, with the State Theatre, Kurhaus and Casino. Thermalbad Aukammtal (0.5 km) - Wiesbaden’s newest and largest sauna and spa is just a 5-minute walk, through the park, from the hotel.

Travel information

Arrival by car: - Please follow the Red Route signs (Rote Route) towards the Staatstheater, Kurhaus/Casino or Zentrum. By taxi: a taxi to the exhibition centre, 1.5 km away, will cost EUR 7 and take 5 minutes. Arrival by public transport from the railway station: Take bus number 16 towards Rambach and alight at Gustav-Mahler-Straße. Journey time: approximately 15 minutes. Cost: EUR 2. The stop is 200 metres from the hotel.

If cancelled or modified up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is not included and costs EUR 12.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
