Schlosshotel Cecilienhof is a very special castle hotel. All rooms have been furnished individually, and in accordance with their unique location and size, in the style of English country manors. Enjoy the beautiful view from your room's window either overlooking the park, the lakes or the small courtyards of the palace.
The historic conference rooms and private chambers of the royal couple are open for viewing in the museum part of the palace. The other rooms are operated as a romantic 4-star-hotel with 41 rooms and suites, one restaurant with beautiful garden terrace, 8 salons for functions, meetings and celebrations and one courtyard restaurant (opened only during the summer time). Cecilienhof attained world recognition as the site chosen for the negotiations of the victorious allies in the summer of 1945. Truman, Churchill and Stalin negotiated the Potsdam Agreement right here. Cecilienhof was the last castle built by the House of Hohenzollern. It was erected between 1914 and 1917 in accordance with the wishes of the Emperor’s son Wilhelm von Preussen and Princess Cecilie in the half-timbered style of an English country manor.
