A wonderful interplay
of great art and contemporary design allying solid, modern and
historical architecture. In the works that she selecterd, the
Düsseldorfer artist Katharina Sieverding proves how tangibly she
relates to this hotel as a special place. Jasper Morrison, the
famous British designer, is reponsible for the masterly interior
decoration. The modern architecture, the work of the Rave
architects, sets up a tension with the historical architecture of
Persius, who planned and built in 1848 in the style of an Italian
castello at the bank of the river Havel, only 5 minutes away from
the downtown area.
 The
hotel's attractive conference facilities will turn any event into
something memorable: the seafood restaurant AQUA, with its unsual
gastronomical concept and its marvellous terrace overlooking the
river, will round it off to perfection.
