Entering the Hotel Opera, built on Water like Venice, you will easily forget the stress of the fast paced city around you. In its beautiful Renaissance-Courtyard you can listen to the birds singing and the floating river "Eisbach" while having breakfast.
Guests are greeted by arches, vaulted ceilings, sections of columns, delicate trompe-l´oeil artwork and fresh flowers. Period furniture, tapestries and paintings lend distinction both to the public rooms and the 25 guest rooms, each of which has its own distinctive character.
Our restaurant, delicatessen- and fine wine store and the most beautiful place to enjoy a coffee in the sun.
The "Gandl" stands for a high gastronomic level with a casual and relaxing atmosphere. For lunch the chef recommends Italian, for dinner French or German specialties.

Hotel details

The hotel dates from 1898, when it was originally built as the city’s finest delicatessen and game-meat supplier to the royal court of Bavaria. It became the Hotel Opera in 1968. A 24-hour concierge and bar service is provided. Free services include a daily paper and use of the PC in the Business Corner. The hotel offers a choice of attractive, well-equipped conference rooms and salons for meetings and events.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

7 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 20 per night per person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 25 per night per person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
