Hotel details
Originally built in 1770 as a local banker’s house, the Fürstenhof has been used as a hotel since the beginning of the 20th century. It has developed into one of the leading hotels in the city and, following extensive renovation, re-opened in 1996 as a 5-star Superior hotel.
The elegant ambience of the building, enhanced by marble, high ceilings and large windows, gives the hotel the air of a patrician’s palace.
Attentive service and superior gastronomy within elegant surroundings will take you back to the grandeur of the past.
For private functions or business meetings, the hotel offers 3 superior conference rooms. The 94m² Opal lounge can be divided into 3 smaller individual lounges. The Rubinsaal offers space for approximately 100 guests. Its foyer opens out into the picturesque courtyard and can be used for hosting receptions. The Serpentinsaal provides a backdrop worthy of very special occasions. It was originally built in 1865 and has since been authentically restored. This unique hall is fitted with the so-called ‘marble of the Saxon kings’, and represents a real treasure of art history.

The comfortable chairs in the conservatory allow you to relax with a digestif, an aperitif, lunch, snacks, cocktails, or traditional afternoon tea. In the evenings, you can relax to the sound of soft piano music.
