Mauritius - Komforthotel in der AltstadtHotel Esser Minotel, a fine familiar 3-star, is located in the heart of Cologne. The Altstadtzentrum (Alter Markt, Heumarkt mit Bahn- und Bushaltestelle) is only 300 m away and also the river Rhine, the fair grounds and the cathedrale are within reach on foot.
Our comfortable furnished rooms were renovated completely last year and offer Bath/shower, toiletn hair dryer, cosmetic mirror, direct dial telephone, desk, modem access, cable-TV, minibar and bathing wrap.
We also offer private parking for 11 cars.

Area information

The Mauritius Hotel is situated in a convenient location in the centre of Cologne. It is a few minutes' walk away from the heart of the Old Town, the River Rhine and the Heumarkt (Hay Market). Sights such as Cologne Cathedral or the chocolate museum are also nearby. The hotel is also ideal for guests attending the Messe (exhibition centre), as it is only 2 stops away on tram lines 1 or 9.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

7 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  5 % city/tourist tax per room per night is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast costs EUR 4.50 per person per night. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 11 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
