Hotel details

In 1715 Markgraf Karl-Wilhelm planned the city according to a sun dial. All the streets and avenues run from the castle in all directions. To reach the congress centre of Karlsruhe you just need to walk another 10 minutes from the hotel. Other interesting attractions are easily reachable by public transport or by car. Due to our ideal location the motorway exits are only a few minutes by car from the hotel.

Food & Beverages

After a successful day it is obvious to let the evening end in our comfortable Pils room. Till 1.00 o'clock we offer different draught beers or Baden "Wine" the day stress behind yourselves. In our café with 85 seats we serve to you from 6.30 o'clock in the morning an extensive breakfast. Diate restrictions we take into consideration with your room reservation. In the summer season we offer about 160 seats on our marvelous terrace.

Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Public parking is possible on streets nearby (reservation is not possible) and costs EUR 12.00 per day.

Travel information

The hotel Tiergarten is located in walking distance from the train station. By car Only a few minutes from all the three motorways around Karlsruhe. There is enough car park space in the parking garages nearby. After 10 walking minutes through the Tiertgarten (garden) you reach the congress centre Karlsruhe. Other attractions in Karlsruhe are easily accessible by public transport or by car.

Area information

The castle with Baden land museum is the centre of Karlsruhe and offers a lot of exhibits. For relax and a few hours in the Green provide the castle garden with the botanical garden and of course the zoo which you can see from our hotel. Go with the castle garden-Bähnle or do a Gondolettafahrt. The castle garden offers show houses with cacti and tropical plants, in the zoo you can find beside a restful walk in the Green also numerous animal species.

If cancelled or modified up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 18.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
