Journey and Arrival

By plane

Berlin Tegel, the most important airport in Berlin for home flights and European flights, is located close to the city. At the southeast city skirt, Berlin Schönefeld is momentarily still labelled as ‘holiday airport’, but from 2006 the airport – which will then be called BBI Berlin-Brandenburg International – will be extended and made into an international junction. The future of airport Tempelhof is still unknown.
