This synagogue in moorish style was built in 1866 by
F.A.Stüler. The design was by E. Knoblauch. The interior, heavily
damaged by bombing, was blown up in 1958. Only the façade was
saved. Inaugurated in 1995 as the "Centrum Judaicum".
