Exquisite wines from the region and from France complement our first class cuisine from the Mediterranean and Baden region. All meals are freshly prepared using local and organic produce. Our restaurant offers space for up to 25 guests. If you require extra seating, you may also use our banquet room. Our restaurant is open from 17:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from 11:00 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays.

Travel information

Arriving by car: Take the A5 motorway Karlsruhe/Basel, and at the interchange "Weil am Rhein" change to the A98 towards Lörrach. From the A98, take the first exit towards Eimeldingen. Travel through Eimeldingen and once you have left the town, turn right towards Fischingen. Follow the village road, and you will find our hotel in the centre of the village. Arriving by rail: The nearest railway stations are Eimeldingen and Efringen-Kirchen. Regional train services stop at these stations. Both stations are a 5-minute drive away. The nearest IC/ICE railway station is "Basel Badischer Bahnhof", a 20-minute drive away. The Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg Airport can be reached in just under 30 minutes. Because Fischingen is not so easy to reach via public transport, we advise to you travel by car, hire car, taxi or bicycle.

Area information

Fischingen is an attractive village in southern Markgräflerland and is located close to Weil am Rhein. In terms of surface area, it is the third smallest municipality in Baden-Württemberg and has just 650 inhabitants. Fischingen boasts a picturesque setting on the western slopes of Läufelberg, surrounded by vineyards and meadows. From here you can easily take day trips across the border, as well as to the Black Forest and to Freiburg. Due to its close proximity to the French and Swiss borders, Colmar, Strasbourg and Basel can be reached with ease.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, 30 percent of all nights will be charged.  In case of no-show, 60 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
