This Gallery-Hotel is a restored early nineteen-century city town house. Situated in the famous Lange Reihe, one of Hamburgs most colourful downtown streets (7 minutes to main train station and 5 minutes to Alster Lake).

The City of Hamburg supported the restoration with public funds, because the hotel is defined as a historical landmark. City art galleries, the city playhouse, cafes and restaurants are within a few minutes' walking distance.

The hotel is furnished with selected antique and design furniture from two centuries (Empire, Art Deco and Contemporary). - Yet all rooms offer modern comfort like private showers, bath tubs, WC, writing desk, ISDN telephone, fax, answering machine, cable-TV, video and minibar.

Sarah Petersen's elegant Gallery-Hotel is an international guest house for individualists, businessmen and artists who prefer small comfortable houses to big anonymous hotels.

The special flair that is found in our hotel is not only due to its famous guests like actors, film directors, painters and writers, but it is the creative concept that offers more than an overnight stay with comfort.

Here our choice of rooms and other services we can offer: The house has five different units from a reasonably priced garret guest room to the sophisticated terrace studio. Changing art exhibitions and art buying possibilities in our house gallery, occasional concerts, classical, musical and chanson, small house bar, restaurant and cafe. Extented European breakfast, vegetarian if wanted. The complete hotel can be rented by groups up to 14 people.
