Address Esplanade 12 20354 Hamburg	Nearby ...	Travel information By train: arrive at Hamburg-Dammtor station. Most long-distance express trains and all ICEs stop there. From here, it is just a 6-minute walk – but if you have heavy luggage, you will have no problem finding a taxi. By plane: at Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel airport take a taxi. The journey takes roughly 25 minutes and the fare is approx. € 29. Alternatively you can take the Jasper Airport-Shuttle bus service. Then take a taxi from Hamburg central station (Hamburg Hbf). Or you may prefer to rent a car from one of the car-hire agencies. A useful tip: ask the car-hire agent for a (free) street map. By car: use one of our route guides. We have put together a route map and detailed directions from each of the main motorway interchanges around Hamburg. These can be downloaded as pdf files and printed out.
Area information Hotel Alster-Hof is a prime location for taking in Hamburg’s chic atmosphere: placed mid-way between the Inner and Outer Alster Lakes – Esplanade No. 12 is our address. An easy 10-minute walk takes you to all the main squares, shopping boulevards and business districts. If you are heading for destinations further out of the centre, we have high-speed underground (U-Bahn) and city railway (S-Bahn) networks right on our doorstep, along with good bus links to every corner of Hamburg. Of course, taxis are also available day and night, with very reasonable fares in the city centre.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 17.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
