 The
Hotel Fresena is situated in the centre of Hamburg, five minutes
from the
Dammtor station, the CCH, the Hamburg Fair, the
university and the Alster.
On the third floor of the architeturally charming palais Dammtor,
it offers you the conveniencies of a well run three-star
hotel.
In historic rooms, that housed – among other things
– the shipping company of the famous sailing ship Rickmer
Rickmers, today you’ll find twenty three comfortably furnished
hotel rooms with shower/WC, telephone (some with analogue internet
connection) and TV.
You begin your day with a rich and varied breakfast buffet and (in
the summer) with a glimpse of starting hot-air balloons on
Moorweidenwiese.
Furthermore group travellers have the chance to book rooms with
half-board and to consume a delicious dinner at the restaurant of
the lodge-house, situated on the ground floor of the same building
complex. The restaurant is of course open to all other hotel
guests, too.
 In
a charming combination of old architecture and modern design the
conference room of the Hotel Fresena offers you pleasant
surroundings and up-to-date communication technology for your
meetings with customers, employees or colleagues.
Because of the unusually good traffic connections you have the
chance to ask participants from out of town to a meeting in
Hamburg without having to send them on long ways inside town.
For meetings with more than fifteen participants we recommend the
conference rooms of the „Niedersächsische Provinzialloge“, the
lodge in the same building. Please do not hesitate to contact us,

For your well-being you may choose
from a great number of offers.
Hotel-owned bicycles for hire, a laundry and dry-cleaning service,
room service, information and ticket booking for the opera,
theatres or other events, jogging maps, city maps and theme
oriented maps, etc.
How to reach us :
Guests arriving per train reach our hotel on foot within 5
minutes from Dammtor Railway Station.
Arriving at the airport, you take the Airport Express Bus to the
Main Railway Station (Hauptbahnhof) and from there the S-Bahn
directly to Dammtor Station.
Due to the central location of the hotel, your sightseeing can be
done on foot or with convenient public transportation.
Our hotel offers public parking spaces in the Moorweiden Str. and
in the Schlüterstr. for guests arriving in cars. If you prefer a
garage, you may park at the Elysee Hotel, approx 60 Meters away,
for a small fee.
