You can explore 350 km of beautiful hiking trails in the surrounding area. Visit the Zugspitze, Germany's highest mountain, tour the cosmopolitan city of Munich (with its annual Oktoberfest beer festival), and visit scenic Innsbruck or Murnau.
Go on a day trip to beautiful lakes such as the Starnbergersee, Staffelsee, Riessersee, Eibsee, or admire the impressive castles of King Ludwig II, which include Neuschwanstein and Linderhof.

From Munich, drive along the A95 motorway until you reach the Eschenlohe exit. Transfer to route B2 and follow it through Oberau and the tunnel (Farchant bypass). After the tunnel, continue towards Brennerpass - Innsbruck - Mittenwald - Partenkirchen. In Garmisch-Partenkirchen, turn right at the 2nd traffic lights and proceed along the Krottenkopfstrasse (towards Garmisch). You will find the Technomarkt (a light blue building) on your right-hand side. After approximately 300 metres, you will see the Hotel Wittelsbacherhof. Turn left into the Partnachstrasse. You will find the Bavaria Hotel after about 100 metres, on your left-hand side.
