A 52 from direction Köln / Düsseldorf
Take exit Essen – Rüttenscheidt, follow the road and turn left at the second traffic light into the Alfredstrasse. Follow this road about 3 – 4 km. This road changes names from Alfredstrasse into Bismarckstrasse and into Hinderburgstrasse. You will drive trough a tunnel, a bit further you have to turn right into the street “Am Waldhausenpark”. You will find this street about 200 m. before a bridge. There is a hotel sign on the bridge. At the end of the “Am Waldhausenpark” street you turn left and drive over the bridge. At the end of the bridge you turn right into the Hoffnungsstrasse. The hotel you will find at your right hand sight.
A 40 from direction Duisburg / Mülheim
Take exit Essen centre – at the end of the exit after the first traffic light keep going on the left line. After the next traffic light ( Big crossing ) you go to the left ( B224 ) the name of the street is Friedrichstrasse.
After the third traffic light you go to the right in the Schwanenkampstrasse.
You follow the signs “ Zentrum “. The name of the street is Lazaretstrasse.
After 300 meters comes a circle. You leave the circle the third possibility.
Our hotel is after 20 meters on the right side.
A 40 from direction Dotmund
Take exit Essen centre – at the end of the exit behind the tunnel you take the first possibility and go right into the Hindenburgstrasse. Drive underneath the railway bridge, in front of the next bridge ( Alfred- Herrhausen-Brücke) turn right into the street “ Am Waldhausenpark “ ( sign Stadtmitte / AOK ),on the next possibility turn left and drive over the bridge, at the end of the bridge turn right into the Hoffnungsstrasse .Our hotel is after 20 meters on the right side.
Direction from Essen main station to Hotel Korn & Restaurant Rendezvous
When you leave the main station ( Essen Hbf ) direction City ( Innenstadt) you will come to the Willy-Brandt-Platz. On the left side you will see a big department store (Kaufhof) , behind that you turn left into the street “Lindenallee”. Follow the street straight ahead, after 200 meters there is on the right side a parking place.
You turn left and walk over the bridge ( Walter-Herrhausen- Brücke ).
At the end of the bridge you turn right into the street (Hoffnungsstraße ) and after 20 meters on the right side is our hotel.
