Villa SeraphinumVilla Seraphinum was built 200 years ago for countess Niesiolowska Barziwill. In the left wing you could find the The servants' apartments where housed in the left wing, while the countess' private rooms were in the right wing. Both buildings are connected by an access balcony - all in all an unique mansion in Dresden.
In May 2003 Villa Seraphinum began a new life as an hotel.
The huge park around the hotel also reflects the glory of the old times.

Rooms

All rooms are individually furnished and feature telephone, TV and private bathroom with shower, WC and basin. Some rooms are also fitted with bath and bidet. On the uppermost floor of the mansion wing, you find a 65m² guest room with roof terrace, whirlpool and many further amenities.

Hotel details

The villa was originally constructed 200 years ago for the countess Niesiolowska Barziwill, a direct descendant of Frederick Augustus I, Elector of Saxony and King of Poland. The left wing accommodated the servants’ quarters and utility rooms, while the right wing contained the living areas and bed chambers of the countess. Both of the hotel’s buildings were fully renovated and converted to a hotel during the period January 2000 - May 2003. The two areas have been connected via a 4-metre high, richly ornate access balcony – the only structure of its kind in Dresden. The park-like estate is still home to the ancient tree population (including some rare tree species) which once bore witness to the villa’s noble inhabitants. In the past, the property featured greenhouses, a pheasant house and exclusive flora. We aim to recreate the former splendour of the estate piece by piece, and to make it available to our guests.

Travel information

Leave the motorway A4 at the exit "Dresden-Neustadt" (nr. 79) towards Dresden-Zentrum. You are now on the "Koetzschenbroder Strasse" which becomes "Lommatzscher Strasse" after some time. Turn off into the "Leipziger Strasse". Drive over the "Carolabridge" and turn off into the "Grunaer Strasse" At the "Karcherallee" you have to turn off to the right and follow the street to the "Rayskistrasse", it is not allowed to enter the street for everyone, but as you are guests in our hotel you are allowed to enter the service road.

Area information

The hotel is located in an extremely quiet area in the district of Dresden-Strehlen. The park "Großer Garten" lies just a 10-minute walk away and invites you to go for walks and to linger.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 12.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
