let the good times roll - this is the motto of the Steigenberger
Maxx Hotel located in Deidesheim. Guests of this establishment,
beautifully located next to the "Paradiesgarten", can enjoy the
inviting and unconventional atmosphere with the nostalgia of the
1930's and 1950's, in a hotel unusually furnished in genuine
Anglo-American style.
After a visit to the sauna, the
steam bath or the solarium you will feel refreshed and
revitalised, and we guarantee you will be all too happy to succumb
to the motto of our hotel.
Bold warm colours, rugged-style furniture,
coarse-woven fabrics made from natural fibres, these are the
elements which give our house its distinctive Anglo-American
atmosphere. The interior design of the comfortable rooms is also
carefully co-ordinated with the characteristics of this era. A
period ceiling fan quietly rotates above your head, while the dark
furniture emanates both elegance and comfort. Everything from the
soap dispenser to the bedspread is in keeping with this
Anglo-American style.

The walls in our comfortable restaurant
"tell" a story about the long tradition of wine growing in this
region. Ancient documents, photos of bygone times, and a variety
of typical wine pressing tools have been carefully selected to
give a wine theme to the decoration of the walls. And the wine
list at Maxx is really a credit to the Deutsche Weinstrasse - here
you will find only the finest, select wines, which are acquired
directly from the wine growers of the region. The menu is just as
promising. Apart from the Tex-Mex influence on dishes such as
"turkey tortillas", you will also find authentic dishes from the
Palatine region such as "Riesling" soup or a real "Wine Grower's
Steak".
Summer Terrace Our garden terrace in front
of the restaurant with a view of the idyllic pond and the adjacent
town gardens is the ideal place for a coffee and cake during the
afternoon or a glass of wine on a mild summer's night.
You can also unwind and enjoy the end of the
day in our hotel bar, listening to the sounds of an authentic
Wurlitzer music box.
The spaciously designed
conference area is modern, functional and equipped with the latest
technology such as flip charts and a video system. Eight flexibly
combinable conference rooms - all with natural lighting,
air-conditioning and some rooms with access to the terrace - are
available for up to 110 persons.
