The Hotel and Restaurant "Zur Post" is owned by the 4th generation of the Füllenbach family. Its 66 rooms can be individually combined to accommodate single travellers as well as families and groups.
The rooms are spread out between the main building, which also houses the restaurant, and the two guest houses. One of the guest houses also features a sauna and solarium, which guests can use against a small fee.
All rooms have ensuite bathrooms with hairdryers as well as a mini bar, phone, internet access on demand, WLAN access and cable TV. Free parking is available for cars and up to two buses. The hotel also has a garage,
where 16 parking spaces are for rent.
The restaurant offers home-style cuisine with regional and seasonal specialties. For events and meetings the winter garden and hall of the hotel offer space for up to 70 persons.
The hotel can be found in Bonn-Beuel close to the "Rheinaue" park and is the ideal starting point for discovering Bonn and the Rhein valley by car, by foot, by bicycle or by ship.
Right across the river you will find the Bonn congress centre as well the city's well-known museums along the so-called Museum Mile. See arts exhibits at the Bundeskunsthalle and the Arts Museum Bonn, visit the scientific
collections of the Museum Alexander König and the Deutsches Museum Bonn or learn about German history at the Haus der Geschichte. The piers of the sight seeing ships that take you along the Rhine valley are only 10 minutes away.
Via the A59 motorway, which can be reached by the nearby Bonn-Beuel-Süd exit, the tourist attractions of Unke, Linz and Königswinter with its famous Drachenfels can be reached by car within 15 minutes.
