Hotel zum Adler Bad Godesberg is a good option if you plan to go to the Cologne Trade Fair. You can have breakfast and then go to Bad Godesberg station, which is just a few minutes away. There will be direct connections from there to the fair and to Köln-Deutz station. It will only take you 40 minutes to get there : no traffic and no problem to find a parking lot ! Plus it will be much quicker than the car.
