an eventful history, during which it was used as a depot for
horse-drawn trams at the end of the 19th century, the LUISENHOF
was restored in 1993, at great expense, to its former
well-deserved greatness as a classic hotel.
All the city's numerous theatres and opera houses as well
as its Museumsinsel and main shopping streets are within easy
walking distance.
Not just a lobby - more a reception
area. Not just halls - more private salons. Not just stairs -
more a sweeping staircase.
Surrounded by 26 rooms and junior suite and complemented by
a daylight conference room with modern equipment and space for 38
guests.
All supported by a breakfast salon and Bistro, the whole
rounded off with personal service from a friendly and considerate
staff.
Rooms are inviting, stylish, quality
furnished and as comfortable as they can be made to be with
thought given to even the smallest detail. They are large enough
to walk a few steps in, light enough to be friendly, peaceful
enough to really relax in. Personal enough to call your own in a
very short time.
In the mornings, the bright, friendly
atmosphere of the Winter Garden. The hotel's generous breakfast
buffet means that the day in the LUISENHOF can, if you wish, get
off to a slightly slower start than usual.
Both the Alexanderkeller and Winter
Garden offer seasonal, market-fresh cuisine from lunchtime until
well into the evening. A cozy corner, a festive seat at the main
table or the company of others in the Cellar Vault - whatever your
pleasure, you'll find the scope for it here. Well into the night,
of course.
