Scandotel Castor Berlin, a delightful 3-star hotel designed in a light and warm colour scheme, is located in a residential area in the very heart of the old West-Berlin, today a buzzling commercial centre. In a quiet street and yet only a few minutes walk to the department store Kadewe and the famous Kurfürstendamm. Our 78 rooms are all fully equipped with modern standard.

After a good night´s sleep you can enjoy our lavish breakfast buffet in our non-smoking breakfast room. After a day full of exciting experiences you can relax in our cosy hotel bar.
Check-in time is from 2 pm and check-out until noon. We have a small outdoor parking lot adjacent to the hotel. As a special service for our guests we offer a free entrance in the nearby fitness-center Maximus. W-LAN is included in the roomrate.

Rooms

Our 78 guest rooms are bright and comfortably furnished. Non-smoking rooms and rooms with WLAN internet access are available on request. On each floor you also find a pair of rooms with a connecting door, providing the ideal accommodation for families. A safe can be obtained from Reception at no extra charge.

The hotel's atmosphere is unusually welcoming and personal for a city hotel. Guests benefit from free use of the adjacent sports studio "Maximus", and conference facilities are available. Please note that from 1st January 2008 the hotel will be exclusively non-smoking.

Travel information From the north: From the junction Dreieck Funkturm, head towards Wilmersdorf/Charlottenburg via the city ring road (A100) until you reach the exit Kurfürstendamm. Keep left in order to access Kurfürstendamm. After a few kilometres you will see the Gedächtniskirche ("memorial church") on the left-hand side and the famous KaDeWe mall on the right-hand side. Continue along Tauentzienstrasse and go straight ahead at the junction Kleiststrasse/Martin-Luther-Strasse. Then turn right into Kalckreuthstrasse at the next crossing. You will see our hotel on the corner of Kalckreuthstrasse/Fuggerstrasse. From the south: Travel towards the Zentrum/ICC via the A115 (AVUS) until you reach Messedamm-Nord and the junction Dreieck Funkturm. Leave the motorway and travel along Halensee Straße.
