Heart of Gold Hostel Berlin

The Heart of Gold Hostel Berlin is the Starship of the Berlin Hostels. We got off ground in 2003 and met a lot of new friends on our trip through the galaxies since then - as Hostel in Berlin.
Our Towels packed we enjoy the two suns outside this unique One out of the state-of-the-art hostels that looks a bit like the spaceship, but then again it doesn't - really, it is mostly harmless.

Rooms

Throughout the hostel runs a parquet floor and a lift takes you to the upper floors. All rooms are modern, light and bright with big windows. In the double rooms you will find a shower and a sink. If you prefer to stay in one of our dorms, you will find your own locker, and the bathrooms in the corridor. All bathrooms are separated with no communal showers.

Address Johannisstr. 11 10117 Berlin		Travel information From the Hauptbahnhof (main railway station): - Take any S-bahn (city rail) train going East - Exit at the next stop, Friedrichstrasse - Turn left and walk northwards, crossing over the River Spree - On the other side of the bridge, take the second road on the right (Johannisstrasse) - Walk for a further 150 metres and you will find the hotel on the left-hand side From Schönefeld Airport: - Take the S-bahn (city rail) train to Friedrichstrasse, and then see above From Tegel Airport: - Take bus 128 to the underground stop Kurt-Schumacher-Platz - Take the U6 train towards Alt-Mariendorf and get out at Oranienburger Tor - Walk in the same direction you have been travelling in and take the first road on the left (Johannisstrasse) - Walk for a further 150 metres and you will find the hotel on the left-hand side

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is not included and costs EUR 3.00 per person.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged EUR 10.00 per night and person for cots. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
