Area information

The Erzgebirge mountains are known as both a skiing/hiking region and a centre for arts and handicrafts. From spring through to autumn you can use the extensive network of hiking, cycling and mountain biking paths. From the mountains and valleys you can enjoy breath-taking views surrounded by unspoiled nature. The peaks guarantee snow every winter, enabling a variety of snow sports.

Travel information

Via the A13 from Berlin, take the A17 towards Prague and exit at Bannewitz. Then take the B170 towards Altenberg. Coming from Thuringia, take the A4 and then the A17 towards Dresden – Prague. Exit at Bannewitz and change to the B170 towards Altenberg.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  EUR 1.50 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
