Area information

Directly opposite the hotel lies the historic Harzer small gauge steam railway station, which goes as far as Quedlinburg. The staff at the hotel will be happy to help organise hunting and fishing trips, clay-pigeon shooting, golf, paragliding and kite flying. There are more than enough cultural and natural hiking destinations around the hotel, including castles, palaces and lakes. There are 12 lakes to swim in nearby, and 154 km of hiking and cycling trails.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

7 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.00 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 5.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 26.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
