Area information

The hotel is situated in the heart of the Westmünsterland region near the Dutch border. The picturesque surroundings are ideal for hiking and cycling. Many historical buildings and windmills wait to be discovered along the route. For extra thrills, take the hot-air balloon and admire the countryside from a totally new perspective.

Travel information

The Hampshire Golfhotel Ahaus is situated approximately 15 minutes from Enschede. The Dutch metropolitan area of Randstad is about 1.5 hours away by car. Take the A1 /A35 motorway and continue past Enschede. Follow the route until you cross the German border. Take the exit Gronau-West and follow the road for approximately 5 km until you reach Alstätte (do not continue to Ahaus). In Alstätte, follow the signs for Vreden. Follow the signs for Golfplatz (golf course). They will lead you directly to the hotel.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

7 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.  Dinner costs EUR 24.50 per person per night. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  One child under 4 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding.  One child under 5 years is charged EUR 10 per night and person in a baby cot.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
